Rhenium isotope composition produced by irradiating tungsten in fast reactors has been evaluated by a continuous energy Monte Carlo code. The specific radioactivity of the rhenium is reduced by approx. 1/30 that of natural rhenium by selecting neutron energy and configration of moderator and absorber.
