The authors have previously performed an analysis of accident scenario and quantification of the core damage frequency against a fault displacement event at a hypothetical PWR plant. In this study the authors applied the fault displacement PRA methodology to a hypothetical BWR plant to analyze and investigate how accident scenarios and the results can be affected by the difference in plant types.
