This paper presents the effect of seismic diversity of SSCs on PRA. To quantitatively evaluate the effect of seismic diversity of structure, system and component (SSC) against earthquake, we investigated by considering periodic correlation of response spectrum. Assumed that a conventional DG and an isolated DG are mounted in parallel whose eigen periods are different. Monte Calro simulation was carried out for evaluating the risk. As the results of simulation, we concluded that the seismic diversity can reduce the risk of the system whose components have different eigen periods.
