Neutrons generated by the fission reaction collide with constituent atoms of the structural material, resulting in cascade collision. The atomic displacement induced by collision has an important influence on atomic micro composition, material microstructure, physical properties of materials, and so on.
In this study, we simulated cascade damage process in iron by molecular dynamics method. And we investigated the defect amount and its spatial distribution with respect to incident energy.
