In this work, it is aimed to develop a stable solidification method for spent zeolite which adsorbed radionuclides such as Cs used in contaminated water treatment of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. In particular, it is developed a sintering solidification method by using no pressure and no compression of spent zeolite which adsorbed Cs, and it will be studied the volume reduction of solidified body by this method. Furthermore, in this research, it will clarify effects of radioactive materials on sintered solidified bodies and it will establish conceptually design for the processes. In this meeting, we will report on the overview of the research and basic test results.
