A various cables used in nuclear power plants are treated as wastes in decommisioning. If part of them is treated as non-radiaoactive wastes, the amount of radioactive waste can be reduced. Furthermore, valuable resources such as copper can be recycled, and that contributes to the efficient use of resources. In this presentation, the results on the evaluation of produced nuclides in representative PWR cables by thermal neutron irradiation calculated with the combination of PHITS and DCHAIN-SP code will be reported.
