Keywords:Suspended Solid, radioactive Cs, river

It is known that the suspended solids (SS) in river waters play as a carrier of the raidoactive Cs. The amount of radioactive Cs transported as the suspended radioactive Cs is larger than its as the dissolved forms. In particular, the huge amount of radioactive Cs has been transported during flooding events. In this presentation, we will discuss about the factors producing the difference in the suspended Cs-137 concentrations between at the base and high water level based on the properties of organic matter in SS (total carbon, nitrogen, and stable carbon isotope ratio).
