原子力機構では、文部科学省核セキュリティ補助金事業の一環で、核・放射線テロ事象後を対象とした核鑑識技術開発を実施している。本発表では、核・放射線テロ事象の初動対応において核種判定を簡便に実施可能とする小型放射線測定資機材の開発を目的として、比較的性能が劣る安価なガンマ線検出器でも複数組み合わせて使用することで、ガンマ線の検出感度とエネルギー分解能といった性能向上を達成できる複合型ガンマ線検出システムに関して原理的な考察を行う。
