The Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) has been studying partitioning and transmutation (P&T) systems. In the partitioning process, the efficiency of MA separation is improved by high-performance (high selectivity and highly practical) extractants. We report the behavior of new extractants for the separation of MA.
