In the course of our development of active-neutron NDA devices which enables DDA, PGA, and NRTA measurements, to improve the quality of PGA measurements, a research was done to select a couple of materials which effectively reduce interfering background gamma rays and damaging neutrons without worsening the quality of DDA measurements.
