Compared multi-dimensional PCV spray analysis by GOTHIC and lumped element PCV spray analysis by MAAP and analized the impact of the model difference on the analysis results. The focal point is the inpact of three dimensional behavior (circulating flow, temparature distribution, drop velocity distribution, drop diameter distribution etc.) in PCV on the analysis results of pressure and tempareture suppression capability of the PCV spray.
