Application of the geostatistical method called Kriging is studied to estimate the distribution of physical and chemical indicators in fuel debris in order to contribute to safe removal of fuel debris from Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. In this presentation, a means to use the Kriging for nuclear material accountancy is introduced.
