[3M10] Density and viscosity of liquid ZrO2 measured by aerodynamic levitation

Physical properties, especially viscosity, of molten core materials are the key to evaluate the spreading behavior of the molten core materials. In particular, there are almost no report about physical properties of liquid ZrO2 because of the high melting point. This study is intended to evaluate the physical properties of liquid ZrO2. The density and viscosity of liquid ZrO2 were successfully measured by aerodynamic levitation combined with a droplet oscillation technique.
