The purpose of this study is to observe migration and sorption of radionuclides and to clarify their mechanism. In the presentation, we show how uranyl and europium ions transfer on a silica gel when an aqueous solution dissolving uranyl and europium ions is dropped onto a silica gel, with the results observed by photoluminescence microspectroscopy. From this, it is clarified that the mobility of uranyl and europium ions on silica gel is different.
