Various gases, such as hydrogen and nitrogen, are expected to be a part of gas inside a containment vessel in the case of a nuclear severe accident. Experiments were conducted to evaluate the effect of different gas compositions on gas-liquid two-phase flow, in order to grasp realistic and detailed two-phase behaviours during pool scrubbing. This paper presents the development of WMS signal analysis algorithms for high-void, churn-turbulent flow regime, and illustrates the results obtained by comparing bubble behaviours for different gas compositions.
