[1G12] Basic Research on Elucidation of Dynamics of Liquid Sodium Multiphase Flow
Keywords:Sodium Cooled Fast Reactor, Vacuum Ultra Violet, Visualization, Particle Image Velocimetry
In this study, we have investigated the use of particle image velocimetry for the flow field observation of liquid sodium with vacuum ultra violet in order to visualize the thermal flow phenomenon in FBR and to clarify the dynamic behavior.
The particle followability to the flow field is calculated using particles with a particle size of 0.5 mm that can be experimentally resolved with a sodium loop (T.Fukuda, ICONE19).
The results of a study on particle image velocimetry using particles with a particle size of 0.1 mm is also reported.
