粒子・重イオン輸送計算コードPHITS及びSRIMを用いて、イオン照射による材料中の照射損傷量の深さ分布を計算した。その結果、10 MeVの鉄を鉄に照射した場合の欠陥再結合補正モデル(arc)を考慮した場合、損傷量の計算結果は従来モデル(NRT)の0.3-0.4倍となり、他のイオン照射も同様の傾向であることがわかった。
