Nearly 80 years have passed since the discovery of nuclear fission, and the process is nowadays used for atomic power plants. On the other hand, the fission process has not been elucidated yet. One of the examples is the kinetic energy of the individual fission fragment. We made a calculation of the kinetic energy using dynamical model based on the Langevin equations. As a result, the fission fragment kinetic energy reproduced the experimental data well. It was found that pre-scission kinetic energy has a significant contribution to the kinetic energy.
