Keywords:Fuel debris, Raman spectroscopy, Mossbauer spectroscopy

Fuel debris generated by TEPCO's Fukushima Dai-ichi accident has a possibility of long-term degradation. In this study we performed immersion test of simulated fuel debris preprared from uranium oxide and stainless steel, and analyzed chemical change of the surface of simulated debris by using spectroscopic techniques. We will reports the results of raman micro-spectroscopy and Mossbauer spectroscopy, as well as the results of the leaching of metal ions.
