(2)Experimental investigation of influence of solid particle properties upon a solid-liquid two-phase flow by flow visualization

After an accident in a nuclear power plant, a solid-liquid two-phase flow including debris out of fuel debris can flow in a water circulating system for a reactor core, and pipe wall thinning phenomena by corrosion has yet to be clarified for this two-phase flow. In this study, a flow visuailzaiton experiment was conducted for a elbow piping by using several kinds of solid particles, and the influence of the solid particle properties upon the flow field was investigated.
