[2F02] X-ray fluorescence analysis of uranium collected by graphene oxide
(1)Application to contaminated water analysis
Keywords:uranium, contaminated water, X-ray fluorescence analysis
In the decommissioning process at TEPCO Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, it is expected that contaminated water that may have been contaminated with uranium is found. Graphene oxide is a material that adsorbs uranium very efficiently. By using this material to extract uranium from contaminated water, it is possible to analyze uranium with high sensitivity. In this study, we developed a method for extracting uranium from simulated contaminated water with graphene oxide and quantifying uranium by total reflection X-ray fluorescence spectrometry.
