We are researching and developing technologies for effectively transmutating long-lived fission products generated by nuclear power generation into stable or short-lived nuclides using a fast reactor system.We selected candidate materials for transmutation targets suitable for the core environment of the fast reactor, and investigated their manufacturability and recyclability.
