The resonant shaking table that realizes shaking tests with a maximum acceleration of 20G is operated using a semi-active mass damper (SAMD), which is a vibration countermeasure device to solve environmental regulation of vibration. Although the maximum acceleration of 20G with 5t load conditions already was achieved under environmental regulation, improvements to the control system were required for testing under 9t load conditions. For this reason, the SAMD control method was improved from the conventional open loop control to a control method using adaptive control to improve vibration control performance, and a verification test was performed under a 10t load condition to confirm the performance.
