We have been planning neutron source for LLFP transmutation using high-intensity cyclotrons-based neutrons. While transmutation by irradiating 100MeV/u deuterons directly LLFP (Cs-135), spallation neutrons secondarily generated is also used for LLFP (Pd-107). We aim to maximize the transmutation amount of Pd-107 and the production of stable rare metal nuclides. In addition, by repeated calculation of PHITS and DCHAIN-PHITS, we have developed the method to accurately estimate the time evolution of transmutation even when transport calculation of neutrons more than 20 MeV and charged particles is required. In this discussion, we report the present design of neutron sources for LLFP transmutation and the new evaluation method of transmutation amount.
