[2O11] Development of highly-efficient neutron diffractometer for compact accelerator-driven neutron source

We developed a highly-efficient neutron diffractometer available at a compact accelerator-driven neutron source. The facricated diffractometer is intended to be used for powder diffraction experiments. The diffractometer consists of many ring-shape neutron detectors which is made of flexible TRUST Eu:LiCAF scintillator. We fabricated the prototype diffractometer having a large solid angle and conducted basic tests at Kyoto University Accelerator-driven Neutron Source(KUANS).
