Evaluation of a neutron spectrum at a beam irradiation field is important for characterizing the neutron beam. Conventionally, the neutron energy distribution in the fast neutron has been measured by using a Ge detector and an unfolding method. The method cannot measure the neutron spectrum in the epithermal neutron region. Therefore, we developed a new method for evaluating neutron energy spectrum over Epi-thermal to fast neutron. It was the method to measure the neutron spectrum using a transfer exposure method with X-ray imaging plate by means of neutron resonance absorption reaction of metal activation foils. We tried to measure the fast neutron spectrum of fast neutrons by quantification of β-ray from radionuclides produced by the threshold reaction of fast neutrons.
