For the development of a rapid tritium analysis method in seawater, we studied the effect of luminescence and optimization of measurement time. The time required to reduce the luminescence generated during sample preparation was at least 3 hours. As a result of the optimization, the measurement time was 50 minutes in the normal mode and 30 minutes in the low background mode, and the time required for the entire analysis could be reduced to a minimum of 4 to 5 hours per sample.
