Techno-hegemony is the concept saying “the country rises with technology and perishes with technology”, and the role of nuclear technology is also discussed from the perspective of techno-hegemony. The nuclear technology is closely linked to military power and economic power, but Japan's nuclear power policy has been developed as a supplier of equipment for power supply development such that the nuclear technology development is not directly linked with military power, but it is now time when the market and roles should be reconsidered with the growth of power generation technologies such as renewable energy generation and the like to a techno hegemon. In this study, we report on a (search-theoretical) competition model between renewable and nuclear power generations.
