We are developing a reactor neutrino detector that monitors the operating status and fuel composition ratio inside the reactor by observing anti-electron neutrinos from the reactor. We are developing a Li loaded liquid scintillator that has pulse shape discrimination. Li emits alpha rays and tritium when it captures neutrons, and this signal can be used to detect reactor neutrinos. A development method of a Li loaded liquid scintillator has not been established. The problem of producing a Li loaded liquid scintillator was to mix a lipophilic organic solvent and a hydrophilic Li compound using a surfactant transparently. We investigated the preparation method while changing the mixing ratio. We will report on the results of performance evaluations such as light yield and transmittance of various samples by changing the Li concentration.
