[2B17] Implementation of SP3 method calculation capability to FRBurner module of CBZ code system
(2)Component-wise sodium void reactivity results investigation and comparison
Keywords:SP3, perturbation theory, void reactivity, component-wise
Further investigation about the SP3-Pertuabtion sodium void reactivity calculation capability is performed. In the SP3-Perturbation case, the scattering component void reactivity can be divided into two parts: φ0-scattering and φ2-sacattering. How to categorize the φ2-scattering is important since φ2 represents the angular neutron flux in SP3 theory. We use ‘1-D like problem’ (simulating one-dimensional void reactivity calculation problem under two-dimensional system) and ‘True 1-D problem’ to investigate the component-wise void reactivity, and then comparing to the transport theory results. We find the SP3-Perturbation results highly agree with the transport theory results when considering the φ2-sacattering as non-leakage component reactivity. This feature occurs under both two-dimensional and one-dimensional systems.
