[2H05] Development of micro thermal lens microscopic system for trace analysis of actinides

Our group have investigated the development of rapid and highly efficient integrated analytical processes of radionuclides on a microchip. In this study, we report a novel micro analysis system enabling on-site and real-time monitoring of trace actinide concentrations such as uranium and thorium. This system is composed by a combination of micro-extraction due to colorimetric chemosensor and fiber-typed micro thermal lens microscopy.
