It is important to establish a method for separating trivalent minor actinides (MA (III): Am 3+, Cm 3+) contained in high-level radioactive liquid waste. In this study, the complex structure was evaluated by X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) analysis focusing on oxygen and nitrogen as a performance evaluation of the alkyl diamide amine (ADAAM) extractant, which is effective in the Am / Cm mutual separation step. When the adsorption rate changed, the oxygen coordination number around the target element and the spectrum of nitrogen also changed, suggesting the influence of the contribution of oxygen and nitrogen. In addition, there was a difference in the distance between oxygen between the solvent and the adsorbent, suggesting that it affects the distribution ratio.
