We are developing an analytical technique in which the samples are ablated to generate laser plasma and the plasma are irradiated by resonance laser beam to observe resonance fluorescence so as to measure the isotopic composition remotely and non-contactly. Normally the wavelength resolution is limited by Doppler width of room temperature; however in the present study we have developed high-resolution technique by adopting two-color two-step Doppler-free spectroscopic technique.
