Keywords:ODS alloys, material compatibility, liquid blanket, liquid divertor, alumina scale

Lead-lithium alloys and tin used in liquid metal blankets/divertors significantly corrode metal materials, so it is necessary to select structural materials that have good compatibility with these liquid metals. FeCrAl alloys form a protective alumina scale at high temperatures, which can be expected to provide excellent corrosion resistance against liquid metals. In this presentation, we will focus upon the FeCrAlZr-ODS alloy developed as a light water reactor accident-tolerant fuel cladding and introduce the development of the FeCrAlZr-ODS alloy and its characteristics clarified so far; those which is useful to consider its application to the advanced fusion reactors.
