By monitoring tritium concentration in pure water directly and automatically with a solid scintillation counting method tritium permeation behaviors through F82H to water was examined for a long time.

T permeation was observed at 70 h and became in a steady state at 120 h after starting the experiment. The obtained T permeation rate was in good agreement with the literature data for normal permeation of hydrogen isotopes in F82H to vacuum (F82H/vacuum), indicating negligible impedance effect of the interface of F82H/water on T permeation. In the presentation, we will discuss tritium permeation behaviors through the interface of F82H oxide/water.
