Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) are expected to be next-generation power sources, and in-core and ex-core instruments will be adopted for their monitor systems. However, the monitor systems should use only the ex-core ones in terms of maintenance-ability and long-term reliability. We are developing a reconstruction method to estimate a fuel output distribution using only ex-core instruments. Detector uncertainty dependence of the reconstruction performance is evaluated using Monte Carlo simulations. We will show the results and discuss the prospects of the reconstruction method.
