[3C01] Gamma ray measurement using a lead bismuth emitter self-powered detector
Keywords:Gamma-ray, measurement, self-powered, high-temperature, lead-bismuth
By using lead bismuth as the emitter of the self-powered detector and sealing it with an alumina case, we devised a detector that has low sensitivity to neutrons and can be used with the emitter melted at high temperatures. A test was carried out in which the detector was heated to 300 ° C. and irradiated with a Co-60 source, and a linear response was obtained. In addition, a test in which the detector cable was extended to 300 m and a test in which high-frequency noise was applied confirmed that there is a possibility that the signal current can be directly measured in the main control room.
