The composition of the liquid feedstock, the operating condition and so on were used as parameters to the freeze drying method, and some porous silica particles were produced. The silica particles have almost no pressure loss while suppressing the decrease in mechanical strength and specific surface area compared to the conventional particles granulated by the sol-gel method.
