Ternary lanthanide oxides (L1,L2,L3,)2O3 (L1,L2,L3= La,Nd,Eu,Tm) solid solutions were synthesized by a polymeric steric entrapment method at 1000 °C. The solid phases were then used for the solubility experiment. Alteration of the lanthanide oxides to hydroxides by aging in the sample solutions, as well as the thermodynamic properties were discussed to predict their migration behaviour in repository conditions.
