Since the possibility of re-elution from sediments would be one of factors of decreasing rate of radiocesium in the Lake Onuma on Mt. Akagi, EXAFS analyses on the sediments artificially adsorbed stable cesium in various condition have been performed. In comparison with other sediments in Gumma prefecture by EXAFS and Xray diffraction analysis, the sediment in the Lake Onuma on Mt. Akagi does not contain any cray minerals but correlates with cesium, which is identified in EXAFS structure functions.
