A relative displacement would occur between the seismic isolated building of ITER and the ground in the event of an earthquake. A transmission line provides electric power for the neutral beam injection in the building. The transmission line has to absorb the relative displacement because the transmission line is supported in the ground and passes through the isolated building wall. In order to absorb the relative displacement, a concept of relative displacement absorbing structure including bellows and seismic bearings is proposed in this study. To confirm the seismic resistance of the proposed structure, the seismic response was evaluated by using the seismic design method of the nuclear crossover piping.
