Nuclear fuel materials (Pu and U) in liquid waste arising in the analysis process of Japan Atomic Energy Agency Plutonium Fuel Development Center (JAEA PFDC) need to be removed before being disposed of. JAEA PFDC has focused the liquid waste treatment method with insoluble tannins and started running in earnest. However, the problem is that the speed of process is slow. Nuclear fuel materials are removed by sending liquid waste to insoluble tannins and bringing it into contact with it. Since the contact time with the liquid waste affects the removal capacity, in this study, JAEA PFDC conducted the test using the solution flowing speed as a parameter to improve the processing speed and reports the results.
