A technology has been developed to measure the weight of nuclear fuel contained in molten debris using muon scattering. Since various materials are contained in the debris, it is difficult to quantify the weight of the fuel. To solve this problem, a method was developed to estimate the rate of fuel by combining muon scattering measurements and machine learning.
