In recent years, there has been a demand for a method for easily visualizing radiation in radiation cancer treatment. In our laboratory, we have developed his gel-like chemical dosimeter consisting of PVA and KI. Here, the PVA-KI gel develops a red color by irradiation. Here, the maximum absorbance is shown at 490 nm in the ultraviolet-visible absorption measurement. In this study, we constructed a system to measure light absorption at the same time as He ion irradiation, and measured at 20 Gy irradiation to clarify the characteristics of PVA-KI gel.
