Minor actinides (MAs) obtained by solvent extraction have been investigated to be stored as thermally stable oxide solid solutions for a period of several decades. In this study, after direct oxide formation by methods including the hydrothermal method, rare earth elements (REEs) as simulants of MAs were solid-solved in a uranium dioxide matrix with a fluorite structure.
The results of the crystal structure analysis of the solid solution will be reported.
