The beta/gamma simultaneous identification technology using the quadruple-phoswitch scintillator was implemented as a practical survey meter for dose equivalent measurement. The practically of the new survey meter was confirmed, through conformity with JIS standards, basic confirmation of beta/gamma identification, and comparison with conventional ionization chamber.
