[3B14] Simultaneous diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclides imaging with Compton-PET hybrid camera
Keywords:Compton imaging, PET imaging, Multi-nuclide imaging, At-211
Recently, the attractive potential of targeted alpha therapy has been demonstrated in the world, and 211At is one of promising therapeutic alpha-radionuclides. In the development of new radioactive drags, the simultaneous imaging of the therapeutic and diagnostic nuclides will be helpful to evaluate the therapeutic affect and accumulation accuracy. In this research, we demonstrated the simultaneous imaging of therapeutic (211At) and diagnostic nuclides (18F, 111In) with the Compton-PET hybrid imaging system capable of performing both Compton and PET imaging simultaneously. The system consists of eight high-resolution-type GAGG detector-based Compton cameras, which have a scatterer with thickness of 1.5 mm and an absorber with thickness of 9 mm. We will report on the detail of our imaging system and imaging results.
