Keywords:subcriticality measurement, area ratio method, dynamic mode decomposition, pulsed neutron source method, fundamental mode component

Our previous study demonstrated that the dynamic mode decomposition (DMD) is applicable to the Simmons-King and Rossi-α methods to robustly estimate the fundamental mode component of the prompt neutron decay constant α. To investigate the further applicability of DMD, the present study focuses on the area ratio method to estimate the subcriticality in dollar units. This presentation will report the estimation result of area ratio using DMD for the pulsed neutron source experiments carried out at the Kyoto University Critical Assembly (KUCA).
