It is important to keep survey methods consistent in order to measure periodically and repeatedly public attitudes toward nuclear power generation. On the other hand, there are some possibilities that conventional surveys cannot be carried out due to an outbreak of infectious diseases or other factors. Web surveys emerge as an alternative. This study examines whether web surveys can substitute conventional surveys by comparing results obtained by a leaving method and a web survey.
