As a rapid analytical method of a long half-life radionuclide Sr-90, the system based on cavity ring down spectroscopy (CRDS) utilizing molecular isotope shifts has been proposed, which is a highly sensitive laser absorption spectroscopy enhanced by an optical resonator. The results of an investigation of the target molecule including Sr as well as the molecular vibrational and rotational transitions by an emission spectroscopy will be shown.
